Frequently asked questions about SwingSync.

Badges

What are badges?

Badges are achievements you earn by hitting milestones in your golf game. Each badge represents a specific accomplishment. Some badges are earned from driving a certain distance or hitting a certain number of shots straight in a row.

Some you'll just have to discover on your own.

How do I earn a badge?

Badges are typically awarded when you "confirm" a session in SwingSync. However, some specific actions, such as setting up which Driver you use, can also earn you badges.

I should have earned a badge but I didn't get it. What gives?

This is a little complex, you've hit a 300 yard drive but the badge is still locked? Why?

Firstly, you can only ever earn a badge for shots hit after you create your SwingSync account. Older shots don't count.

Secondly, shots hit before a specific badge was released don't count towards that badge. So if you hit a 300 yard drive before we released the 300 yard drive badge, you'll need to hit another one to earn the badge.

Thirdly, the badges work in "tiers", and you can only unlock one badge per tier per session.
You cannot unlock the 250 yard badge until you've unlocked the 200 yard badge. So even if you hit 5, 300 yard drives in a row, you'll only unlock the 200 yard badge in that session.
Work your way up progressively and you'll get there!
