Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your SwingSync account and the data associated with it. SwingSync is operated by Innovative Sporting Platforms Pty Ltd.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly inside the SwingSync app at any time:

  1. Open the SwingSync app on your device.
  2. Open the profile screen, availble in the top right menu on desktop, or the bottom navigation bar on mobile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account will be deleted immediately. You will be signed out of all devices and will lose access to SwingSync.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Your profile information (username, email address)
  • Swing analysis results and history
  • Practice sessions and drill history
  • Club settings and equipment data
  • Any notes or annotations you have added
  • Subscription and billing history records held by SwingSync

What data may be retained

Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes:

  • Transaction records required for tax and financial compliance — retained for up to 7 years as required by Australian law.
  • Aggregate, anonymised analytics data that cannot be linked back to you — retained indefinitely.

Payment information is held by our payment processor (Stripe) and is subject to their retention policy, independent of your SwingSync account.
