How to export your Awesome Golf data
Your Awesome Golf practice sessions already have the shot data. Connect Awesome Golf Insights, sync them into SwingSync and export a clean CSV whenever you want.
A bucket of balls in Awesome Golf can tell you how you're hitting it today. Keep those sessions together and you can start answering better questions: is your dispersion tightening, are your carry numbers settling, and did that swing change actually stick?
SwingSync connects to your Awesome Golf Insights account, brings in your driving-range sessions and lets you export your shots as CSV. Along the way, it enriches your data by cleaning up bad readings, filling in missing values, and scoring and classifying each shot.
Before you start: check Awesome Golf Insights
Open Awesome Golf Insights, sign in and check that you can see the driving-range sessions you want to import.
SwingSync pulls practice sessions from that account. If a session is missing from Insights, it won't come across until it shows up there. This guide covers driving-range practice sessions.
Step 1: Download SwingSync
SwingSync is free and available for Windows and Mac, iOS, and Android. Install it and create a free account.
Step 2: Connect your Awesome Golf account
From the SwingSync dashboard, find Pull in your golf data, stay on Account sync and choose Awesome Golf.
Your sessions will appear in SwingSync as they come in.
Already have a CSV export from Awesome Golf Insights? Switch to Manual upload and drop the file in. SwingSync recognises an Awesome Golf export and imports those shots the same way.
Step 3: Confirm the sessions
Once the sessions have been imported, confirm each one (or bulk confirm all of them). This will map each shot to the correct club and highlight any shots that need your attention.
Step 4: Export your Awesome Golf shots as CSV
For a single session, open it in The Range, go to Shot table and hit Export. The export button appears once the session is confirmed. The CSV is downloaded to your device, ready to open in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or your favourite data tool.
To take your whole practice history with you, use Export all shots on The Range page. That includes your shots from other connected systems too.
The measurements available depend on what your launch monitor sends to Awesome Golf and what reaches Insights. That can include ball speed, club speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, carry and total distance, attack angle, club path and face angle, plus Awesome Golf's own shot classification. SwingSync brings those sessions into a consistent format and adds its analysis so you can work with them together.
Keep putting that practice data to work
Exporting gives you a copy to use however you like. Keeping your Awesome Golf sessions in SwingSync also lets you:
- Review shot classifications and scores.
- Compare clubs, dispersion and miss patterns across sessions.
- Track progress and find your best streaks.
- Earn XP, level up and unlock badges as you practise.
- Use your confirmed shots to make progress on SwingSync Treks.
Your Awesome Golf range work can sit alongside sessions from GSPro, Foresight, Trackman, Toptracer and other supported systems. Whether you're practising at home or heading to the range, it all contributes to the same picture of your game.
